Introducing John Deberard & the Renewed Sheep Barn

I am John DeBerard and have been helping out on the farm for a few years. I grew up in Wheat Ridge, CO and went to Wheat Ridge HS and CSU with Dana. My Grandfather had a farm and ranch in the Black Hills of South Dakota which is where I developed my passion for farming and ranching and am thankful to Dana for letting me work the ground like during my childhood.

My Agricultural Engineering education has helped me with the farm machinery and any required handyman work around the farm. I have a passion for woodworking and Dana has let me work on rebuilding the 100-year-old Sheep/Horse Barn. I am using materials and techniques that were originally used. 

Zuri Agrama is a freelance environmental and social educator. Zuri recently completed her Master's in Environmental Education from the Nelson Institute of Environmental Studies, UW Madison and recently founded "Environmental Consciousness Action" an initiative to inspire environmental connection and change.
